92ZEWs 2nd Tuesday Christmas Special was a blast. We enjoyed every minute. So many musicians came out and participated. Just some of the acts were us, The Rez, Kristy Lee, Eric Eardman from the Ugli Stick, Gene Merell from the ZEW, Peek, and so many others.

We got to hang out with our friends and listen to great music. In our position, it doesn’t happen a lot. We ended up playing an original that Garrett wrote and “I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas”. For only one night of practice, I think we did ok, but it was fun.

After the radio part of the night was over, it turned into a huge jam session. Peek started with “Strawberry Blonde” off there new cd and then “She Dances” off there first album. Then Ross, me, Eric from the Ugli Stick, and Les Hall from Phar Fletcher played “Red Dress Lady”, and “Job”. Chris from Peek played some on Job, but after that we covered “Come Pick Me Up” by Ryan Adams and Chris and Ross traded vocals. Then everyone got on stage and we started playing The Band songs. One was “The Wait”, but I can’t remember what the other was. After the huge jam session was over, Christy Lee and a couple other guys got up and jammed out.

It was a very eventful night. Hope everyone made it out, but if not, you should really plan on being there in 2010.
